Recently, the College of International Exchange of Shenzhen University received exciting news. On May 23, the College and Shenzhen Bookstore Central City Industrial Co., Ltd signed a school-enterprise cooperation framework agreement at the 20th China (Shenzhen) International Cultural Industry Expo and Trade Fair, and successfully established the "Shenzhen University International Student Training Practice Base", opening a new journey of cooperation and international talent training between the two sides.

As the central management department and an important teaching unit of Shenzhen University for international students, the College of International Exchange has always firmly adhered to the concept of multicultural education, closely relying on the university's superior disciplinary resources, and successfully built a unique educational pattern. The International Student Development Center of Shenzhen University and the "Belt and Road" International Student Entrepreneurship and Innovation Base of Shenzhen University have been tirelessly committed to building a broad platform for international students, with the purpose of enhancing their practical ability and entrepreneurial ability. The inclusion of Book City in the cooperation framework has significantly further enriched the resources and platform system, and created more good opportunities for international students to practice exchange. On the morning of June 7, the launch ceremony of EON Books was held in Shenzhen Book Center City. Representatives of Publicity Department of Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Foreign Affairs Office of Shenzhen Municipal Government, Publicity Department of Futian District Party Committee, Shenzhen University, Shenzhen Publishing Group and other units attended the launch ceremony, and witnessed the official opening of the Bureau together with representatives of citizens and readers, representatives of international friends and student representatives. Ms. Qin Qing, Deputy Secretary of our college, Ms. Chen Mo, head of the International Student Development Center and the "Belt and Road" International Student Entrepreneurship and Innovation Base, and the first batch of international students from Shenzhen University were also invited to participate in the ceremony as cultural sharing officers. The activity site was full of a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, everyone was immersed in the melodious music, and talked happily in Chinese, French, English and other languages, and felt the beauty of world culture and literature and art together. With its rich foreign original books and strong Chinese cultural characteristics, the Bureau has successfully created an international reading space and won acclaim. At the launch ceremony, Imane and Boris from France, together with the editor of the publishing house Qiu Qiuka, presented an excerpt reading of Mona's Eyes. The live reading was also accompanied by a violin performance, which presented an audiovisual feast for the audience. In addition, the "Reading World Literature Together" activity was also held in the afternoon of the same day, two French students Imane (Iman) and Boris, as well as South Korean doctoral student Shin Mun-seop and Pakistani doctoral student Chasheen also launched a warm exchange with citizen readers, they shared their views on Impressionist, classical and other works. They also discussed the unique charm of French literature and art.
